Typing inside a circle so the words are in the shape of a circle

So I have done this before and got the directions right here in the forum! Unfortunately I can't remember how I did it!! I even had saved the word document and tried just changing the typing but it didn't keep the words in a circle shape.

So if anyone knows how to do this on Word I promise to save the directions this time! Here is a link to the page where I did it before so you can see how it should look.

I think this is what you want


To journal within a circle:

1. Open up MS Word
2. Click on the Oval shape. Click and drag on your page to make the desired size.
3. Double click on the shape. A box should pop up to format the shape. Click on Color to make it No Fill. Click on Size to make sure the width and height are the same. Otherwise it wouldn't be a circle (this said from experience).
4. Click OK.
5. Click on the Text Box. Click and drag over the circle shape.
6. Click on the Text Box again. A box should pop up. Click on Color and choose No Fill and change the width and height the same size as the circle.
7. Click OK.
8. Click on the Text Box and drag it over the circle shape so that it is right over it.
9. Type your text as you wish and make it fit as desired.
10. Use the center button in the journal box to even out sides as you type.

To journal around the perimeter of a circle:

1. Open word. From the file menu Select Insert>Picture>Word Art.
2. You will then see the word art box. First row third icon is an arc. Select it. Click ok and you will see the words...YOUR TEXT HERE. Change the font to whatever you want and type whatever you want. Click ok.
3. It will now appear on the "page". Highlight your phrase by clicking on it once. then click on the WORD ART SHAPE icon. It is a blue "A" tilted slightly to the right. ***PLEASE NOTE: In my program (MS word OFFICE), it was the icon that had a little "abc" instead of the slanted A! ***
4. Select the circle. It appears flat, but just grab a handle and drag it down to a circle.

Thanks Kim! I did it! I had forgot to leave the lines so that I knew when to add spaces etc! I have copied the directions and put in a file.

ok so I got the instructions to scrapperfects way of doing it with Inkscape and for the life of me cannot get it. Has anyone had any trouble with this too?
