Hi! I recently bought the Cricut Expression. Of course the box is not the right size to hold the 12x12 cutting mat, so the company bent it over in the box. I've tried everything to get this thing to be straight from pressing it between books for a couple of days to bending it in the opposite direction in the box for a couple of weeks. I went out right away and bought new mats, but I would hate to throw away a perfectly good mat if it can be straightened out. I did try to use it in the expression with the warp to it, but it made the machine make a funny noise and I hit stop right away. So, I don't think using it the way it is is a good idea. Any suggestions on straigtening it out? Did anyone else have this problem when they took theirs out? Or, did you all just turf the mat in the garbage?
