I have a Generations tote that I love but from other threads here I believe I am in a very small minority. My tote doesn't get a lot of use - I take it out 5 or 6 times a year and it holds some lesser used things when at home. It was very easy to scrap out of back when I first started, though.
Go to the superstore here and look at the totes sold by the superstore- we have the option of writing reviews of products sold in the store (you don't have to get it here to review it). You may be able to get a wide range of opinions that way.
I used to have a rolling tote, but I felt like I always brought *way* more than I used. LOL. So now I just take a small bag (The "Vera" bag by Vera Bradley). I have a project all set to work on: pages ready to go with photos, paper, embellishments, etc, so it's easier.
Also, in my scrap room, I have a bin that holds all my "in progress" pages. Ones that I had to clear off my table for some reason... or classes I took and didn't finish layouts for. Sometimes I just grab a handful of those and work on those. That's actually worked the best for me. I don't even have to think. I can just socialize and help others and chit-chat while I just glue my page down. That way I get things done, but I'm not stressing over design and placement and stuff. Not to mention, I don't need a rolling tote!
I have a rolling bag by Paper Studio. I love it! The only advice I have is just make sure it stays shut when you're pulling it by the handle. My cousin had one that only had velcro to hold the top shut, and the handle was connected to it. Whenever she pulled it behind her to roll it, it came open! Don't remember what brand it was...
I use a huge tote that was from Creative Memories. it's 27" long, 15 deep and 15 high. It holds everything and has wheels. I call it my "coffin". Friends help you move, good friends help you move the bodies.
A couple weeks ago, my husband bought me the Crop In Style navigator tote. I really wanted the XXL but he was so exited for surprising me that I went with it. I actually love it. I fits in my car easily and holds most of my scrapbook stuff. I guess that shows what little I have. Its not TOO big, it holds those 12x12 plastic paper holders easily and lots of rooms for pens and cool little pockets.

I love my MiMi Rolling totes. I have them in pink/chocolate. The medium size rolling tote is great (although sometimes I wish I'd gotten the large!) and the shoulder tote slips onto the extended handle of the rolling tote for easy transport. The rolling tote will also collapse for storage!
They also have other totes and sizes, including stamp holders, tool totes and a laptop carrier!
The inside fabric is pink so one can see what they are looking for. Black interiors drive me nuts!
Another bag I love using (it stands up because of a flat hard bottom) is this one: All My Memories - Tote-Ally Cool Tote 3 - Shoulder Bag - Pink Polka Dot
My sister bought me one when I first scrapping about 7 years ago. It was on clearance at W's for $29. It is the Generations Tote. I use it all the time and love it. I have seen them at M's lately. Holds my 12x12 paper and lots of pen loops and extra pockets for embellishments and pictures.
I have the XXL but it's too big for my liking. My LSS is up two flights of stairs and it's a PITA to take it to their crops. It's too heavy to lift if you put too much stuff in it. I got a CIS Jr. from freecycle (brand new!) that I use a lot, along with a smaller plastic organizer tote that I keep all my basics in.
