Photos into a circle

This might be a stupid question but how do you cut 4x6 photos into a perfect circle. I have seem some LOs like that and they look so cool but I could never do it freehand. Is it a die? Thanks!

You can use a die or punch for the perfect circle. I've tried using a glass/round object or a compass to draw the circle but I just can't cut a smooth curve with scissors lol.

Thanks I actually went to michaels today's but I didn't see any punches that would babe big enough. The biggest they had was 2 inches thats remedy small but I don't know. Do you think that is a standard size for a photo? Thanks

Personally, I would want bigger. It kind of depends how big the subject of your photo is and your layout though. Do you have a die cutting machine? If so, the spellbinders circles would be good because you'd have a few to choose from anyway.There are circle cutter things but I've never tried them so I can't help you with that. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Before I got my Cuttlebug, I just drew around things like egg cups, drinking glasses, wine glasses etc. and cut the photos out with good scissors. Using a glass item worked best because you can see through it so you can position it right where you want to.

I used to have a circle cutter but I didn't get on with it. They don't make that particular one any more - no surprise there! But there are still plenty to choose from, although I can't personally vouch for any of them.

I have the Lifestyle Crafts circle set. I love that there are so many, so close to each other in size. You can use them to make frames too.
