Best adhesive for Photo paper to Cardstock

Hi everyone, I have a question i was hoping to get some help with!

I do a lot of custom trading cards (mainly sports cards but some actors as well) my problem is finding a good glue or adhesive that will A) not wrinkle the photo paper and i need it to be permanent and not have the top layer start to bubble because the adhesive has stopped working. I am using a scotch permanent glue stick to adhere my 200lb cardstock to the proper thickness and it has worked great, so far i havent had a single problem. But it didnt stick the photo paper to the cardstock for very long and would bubble after time so i switched to a scotch scrapbooker's glue bottle and i love it but it's doing the same thing. I need a permanent, never goona let go bond. Any suggestions???

Here's a side look at a finished card i recently did, as you can see it all needs to be bonded together so putting little glue donts in certain places is not an option here.

Also, while on the topic of glue, anyone know of any ways to keep pictures from being ruins is i accidently get a little blob of glue on it?? I was using Krylon because if i did get glue on it itd wipe right off but when i cut the card down the krylon cracks along the edges and makes the card look horrible.

Any help would be super appreciative!!!!

As for adhesive, I'd try the ATC adhesive roller. You won't have any issues with the warping since it isn't a liquid and it is SUPER strong. In fact, so strong that I don't love working with it because it is so difficult if you need to reposition something.

You have a tough job to work with for this type of card. I agree, I use ATG on photo paper to cardstock since it will not warp or bubble under the photo. Also, I noticed that some photo papers are almost a plastic coating on the back and are difficult for glue or even writing on them.

However, having said that about ATG, I don't see how that would work for your work. ATG is TAPE and you use it around the edge or close to the edge and works great for scrapbooking.

When you say you were working with Krylon, are you meaning a spray glue? I was thinking a spray would give you all over even surface with no clumps but then you say it crack if you trim it after....hmmmm difficult. There might be a better brand for paper. Can you trim first, and then spray the glue?

If you need to get glue off of a photo, UNDU has always worked for me.

This sounds like the perfect job for a xyron. Considering how many cards you make it might be more economical to get a larger one. They also make laminate options too but to start I would get their permanent adhesive.
