Wedding album for gift

I am thinking about making a wedding album for a gift. For myself I usually use 8.5 x 11 but for this I will make a 12 x 12. I know the couple is "camera happy" but I've never seen any scrapbooks.

Should I focus on just wedding, just honeymoon or both??

Should I title pages or kind of have generic wedding pages??

What size pics are the average for a professional order?? a private order??

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

I did do a 12x12 wedding album as a friend's wedding present. In addition I did a 6x6 shower book also. I took pictures of the ceremony and I put cameras at each table at the reception and made sure that they were all used and collected. After the wedding I had the pictures developed (4x6) and sat down with the bride and went through the pictures to dedcide what would be put in the album. I only scrapped the ceremony and the reception.
I titled some of the pages and left some untitled. I put in journalling areas and had the bride's Mother do the journalling before I gave the album to her.

I did an album for couple's 40th anniversary. I did an elegant but simple black and white album. I only used repositionable glue for about everything except the opening page. I included a page for guests, family, before and after pix, etc. I placed frames and titles to give them ideas but since it was repositionable they can alter it how they like. I also gave them some permanent adhesive and a note saying that if they'll get pix and the album back to me, I'll complete.

I just finished my sister's wedding book. Because family came into town before the wedding I included pictures of events leading up to the wedding, during the wedding, the reception and events after the wedding. This way she had something to remember about everything that was involved. The books was so full I had to put extenders in it. I'm not sure if you would want to go that big or not. This was for my baby sister so I went a lot overboard, although my wedding book (still working on after 10 yrs) is just as big but I ended up using a binder book because it has more room.

I made a scrapbook of my friends wedding, with the help of another friend. We just pre-made all the pages ready for her to insert the wedding pictures. We just gathered color swatches to match up her color scheme, I did a really nice page of her father/daughter dance with the words to the song in the background.

They both really appreciated it because Scrapbooking isn't something she's into doing. So with us having it all ready for her, she's got her wedding album all complete. We did do a couple of pages for the honeymoon and such, but focused on the wedding more.

I also gave her a present that I made myself...like a story book about the bride and groom before they met and after. I got baby pics and random shots from their families and put it together for them. She really loved that because her husband told her he didn't have any baby pics (and he was telling the truth, it was slim pickin's for his pics), but in the end we managed to gather quite a few pics of him and now they will also have that keepsake.

I did a wedding scrapbook for a friend of mine this last year. I did a little intro of how they met with pictures and then a few major militones they have had. Then scrap pages for them to put wedding and honey moon pictures. It was a 12x12. I think you should do what you think would be best.

If they are big picture takers like I am I ended up doing three books for my wedding. They were only 8 1/2x11. So they may just end up using one book for there wedding.
