How precise does the Cricut cut?

I work for an aircraft repair facility and we are needing to figure out a way to cut out vinyl dots ranging from .25 inch to .75 inch. Would the cricut do something like this? Does it let you change the size of the dots and is it very precise? Thanks.

The Cricut cuts vinyl VERY nicely (sometimes better than paper!) Yes, you can change the size of the dots. With the personal Cricut, you can only change is 1/2 inch increments. With the Expression or the Create, you can vay in 1/4" increments. The Create can cut as big as 6"x12" starting at 1/2", with the expression, you can cut 12"x12" OR if you buy the bigger mat, you can cut 12"x24" as small as 1/4"

If you use something like the Design Studio software you can work in, essentially, thousandths of an inch.

My personal opinion is the Cricut does not cut good circles. They are not always round.
It seems there are other machines that are more precise when cutting circles.

The smaller the circle, the more oval mine are. One of my Expressions cut decent circles, but not perfectly round. IDK, my non-Cricut machine cuts perfect circles~

What everone else has said. You might want to look into Pazzles machines. They're more for the commercial vinyl cutting crowd. They're also quite a bit more money.
