If you mean the vanishing ink pen, you can draw lines to write your journaling on, and then the lines disappear. It's a very helpful tool if you have trouble writing straight without lines. (I know I do!)
i love my "journaling genie" but I only draw the line one time (if you go over it too many times it won't disappear) and have no problems with it disappearing on WHITE cardstock- darker could bleach out/change color with it. I got mine from joann.com
I definately like my vanishing ink pen, but I agree that you have to be careful to not go over the same area more than once. What makes me sad is that on some colors of cardstock you can't see it at all in order to use it before it vanishes...
I use the Journaling Genie too, I love to make journaling in a spiral or a circle...
I have one from Chatterbox that I really like but like everyone else said don't try to go over that line too many times it'll stay forever. I did also see that American Craft makes one when I was watching the all day thing on QVC. It was nice to use because I traced an oval from my Fiskars template set with the ink and then laid down my sticker letters and they were nice and even and right were I wanted them, no eyeballing it.
While using the journaling genie vanishing pen u MUST let it air dry for a certain amount of hours in order 4 it 2 disappear. Mine didn't disappear since I put my LO in the album right away, so when it didn't disappear I read the package and sure enough it read, let it air dry b4 putting the project into an album. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Like some said here, it just depends on the paper.
Mine didn't ever really disappear. There was always a very faint purple line. Barely visible but still there. It finally did disappear --the pen I mean. I just dropped it into the garage sale box to get rid of it.
i found if my pen is too old it doesn't disappear totally. i just get a new one every other year or so to make sure the ink will disappear. test it out before using to be sure! but it's SO worth it!
