how to fold 12x12 paper to make a 4x4 mini album

I watched a scrapbook program, or it could have been Carol Duvall they took a 12x12 sheet and folded it and cut it a certain way to make a mini album, we want to show our 8th grade class so they can make a mini booklet as a keepsake. I folded the 12x12 but I can't make the right cuts. Please help me!!

I can't help you but I'm really interested in the idea of doing that because I want to make a mini album like that as well!

ok.. you have the paper folded into 3 sections @ 4" intervals to form a grid. You cut the top horizontal fold line from the left to 4" from the right side of the paper. Then cut the bottom fold line from the right side to 4" from the left side of the paper. Then you just fold it up, when you get to the 2 ends where 2 grid squares connect you just fold down on the lines. You'll have 2 pages that fold at the top or bottom of the book instead of on the sides. Sometimes i glue the pages together, sometimes i turn them into pockets to hold a little tag.

Clear as mud right?

is it ok to admit that I still don't get it??? I am very bad with the written word...I am a visual kinda girl...I keep trying and it isn't working

cidscraps--don't feel bad, you're not the only one who needs a visual. I got the cuts in--that's the easy part. I can't figure out how to fold the thing. Anyone have a picture for us visual learners?

exactly...can't figure out how to fold it to save my life!!! I really am an intelligent person...I just need visual!!!
