Difference between Stickles & glitter glue???

Does anyone know the difference (besides the $$$) between Stickles and glitter glue? My kids have a set of 25 different colors of glitter glue tubes and I'm tempted to use them on a page. They don't make any claim of being acid free, of course, but maybe someone else knows---???

Stickles are stickles because of the fine glitter used, the fact that the mixture is thin/fine enough to pass through a tiny tip and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the type of liquid glue they use (which seems to flatten as it dries unlike lumpier glues I've used). Since Ranger makes them, acid free is also a factor.

Like liz mentioned, the glitter is super fine. Stickles are great for really small details, and they do lie flatter than other glues.

Other glitter glues will work, but none that I've used come close to Stickles for fine detail work.

Glitter glues do NOT puff up!! I would go with stickles or Scribble glittering puffy paint. I can't stand glittler glue cause it lays flat on the page.

Unless that is the look you're going for. Also, you can't do small detail work with glitter glue.

I would stongly encourage you to use puffy paint instead. I use it all the time. There are quite a few pages in my gallery where I have used puffy paint.

Actually you can do the smallest of detail work with Stickles glitter glues

Well it doesn't puff up, but it's definitely dimensional.

oh... I'm such a huge fan on puffy paint. haha... maybe stickles is like a cross between flat glitter glue and puffy paint. A happy medium. haha.

Here's a couple cards that I used Stickles on. The leaves have a medium green stickles on them and some of the swirls have pink stickles on them. You can't see the pink very well in the photo, but in real life it's very sparkly! I was able to do each tiny swirl with the stickles with no problem.
