Dealing with the death of a loved one is a very difficult time. And finding the right message to express love and support in a sympathy card can be a huge challenge, especially during such sadness. That's why it's important to have caring sympathy stamps in your craft supplies; these stamps make it easy to find the right words when you're not sure exactly what to say to someone dealing with grief.
Scrapbook.com has two wonderful sets of sympathy stamps when you're trying to find the right supportive message for your loved one: Heartfelt Sympathy and In Sympathy.
I created a simple and elegant stamped sympathy card by using some of the beautifully vibrant Scrapbook.com hybrid inks with a lovely layering stamp set from Altenew. To tie it all together, I used some of the very poignant sympathy stamps exclusive to Scrapbook.com. Here's how I did it so you, too, can show your support in times of sadness.

I began by stamping several flowers and some foliage from one of Altenew's layering floral stamp sets using the gorgeous Scrapbook.com hybrid inks from the Rose, Violet, and Sky ink groups! These inks stamp so beautifully; they are nice and crisp while also being fantastically smooth.
Tip: Using an acrylic block with your stamps and Premium Hybrid Inks is a great way to get a solid, crisp transfer every time!
The best part about the groups or families of inks is that they are wonderful for creating with layering stamps. All the Rose pinks, Violet purples, and Sky blues came together to create the elegant flowers and leaves in coordinating tones.
I stamped all of the flowers and foliage on Neenah Solar White 80lb card stock, then die cut them with Altenew's coordinating dies.
Tip: The floral stamps Emily chose for this card are absolutely breathtaking, but any flowers or floral stamps can be used to create a 'sympathy bouquet' on your card. You can even use paper flowers or premade die cuts for an easier route!
Scrapbook.com has an exclusive stamp set with some touching sentiments that are perfect for those difficult-to-make sympathy cards. I ended up using the Heartfelt Sympathy set for the greeting on the front, as well as the In Sympathy set for the interior message.
For the greeting on the card front, I die cut a simple oval from some more Neenah white card stock using the Scrapbook.com Nested Oval dies, then stamped the beautiful, heartfelt message from the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set using their Black Hybrid Ink.
I added the oval to the front of an A2-sized pre-folded card using some foam adhesive for extra dimension, then arranged the stamped and die cut flowers in a pretty bouquet at the top of the oval.
Tip: Arranging accents on your cards is not an exact science. Sometimes you need a few minutes (without adhesive!) to get it right before you glue it down. Add a little here, move something over there, take away from right here and then perfect! Make sure you're happy with the placement before getting your adhesive roller out.
For the interior of the card, I stamped a lovely greeting from the In Sympathy set using the Black Hybrid Ink again. To continue the theme from the card front and add a small touch of beauty to the interior, I added some more small flowers, berries, and foliage to the bottom corner of the interior using the same ink colors.
When you're finished, you'll have a beautiful, heartfelt sympathy card that sends a wonderful, supportive message to someone going through a tough time.
Tip: If you prefer less white space on your card, try lightly blending some of the same ink colors used in the flowers into the background for a beautiful whisper of color.
