I've had fun with different mediums creating this card. I started by spraying a panel with blue Distress Mica Sprays to create the background for these pretty coneflowers. This mini slimline die set from Whimsy Stamps is so lovely and very easy to get a 'two for one' using both the background and foreground. I shared the other card I made recently using the blue coneflowers and this came up so beautifully too. I cut the second panel for the coneflowers from watercolour paper and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to colour up the flowers. But I did a fun hack with these. I had an old Wink of Stella pen that had run out, so I popped the top off and squeezed the barrel under water, refilling the chamber so I could use it as a glittery waterbrush. It worked a treat and made a really lovely brush for watercolouring, not to mention the subtle sparkle that it added too! I finished up this design by framing it with some lovely wooden planks cut with a Whimsy fence die set. I added some Tim Holtz Idea-ology Hardware Heads to the corners which I treated with some alcohol inks first to give them a slightly rusty look. First time trying this and the look wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but a fun finish regardless.
