100% Boy

For April 2024 Scraplift your Favorite and Boy Only challenges. As soon as I saw Petra's layout, Precious Memories (#7047411) I knew I'd lift it for this portrait of my husband at the age of four.. It took a while to finish this one as I was looking to buy "boy" elements but all I could find was baby boy stuff so I used what I already had (mostly thrift store finds).

Background: Recollections "Heirloom Harvest"
Patterned paper: $1 store 12x12 pad
Cardstock for photo mat and behind pattern paper, cut with Fiskars "ripple" scissors
Title: scraps, letters from Recollections and MAMBI
Boy chipboard: K & Company Kazoo Kids (thrift store find)!!
Banner: I used leftovers from other chipboard, adhered blue textured paper (Craftsmith) to it, sanded the edges to mimic the worn look of the K & Co. pieces, punched holes with a Provocraft shape punch and hung it with string from my stash. I'll add my husband's name with letter stickers later.
