Layering images over your Photos in Photoshop
Submitted by: *Laura klein*
Maybe some of you have this look, and some have not. If you would like to overlay images over your photos here is how to do it in photoshop.

Open your picture in photoshop. Open the image you would like to place over the picture (can be vines, scrolls, spirals, starts, whatever).

Its best to use images that are a single color like black or white.

Select All for the image you want to put on the photo. Then edit copy that image, and edit paste. (a shorter version would be to drag the image and drop it on top of the photo)

Also make sure both images are the same resolution size.

Once the image is pasted onto your photo, open up your layers. Select what type of layer you want it to be from the drop down menu. You can choose: Multiply, Screen, Overlay, etc.

Adjust the opacity depending on weather you want it to show up dark (100%) or more ghost like (30%-70%).

After you have it the way you want it and its in the right position, Flatten the image. Save it. Print it!

Your done, you have an image on top of your photo!
