Tear Bears
Submitted by: scrap-happy-mom
Get some x-tra thick Mulberry Paper (any color) Trace your pieces onto the back of your mulberry paper. (bears are just a bunch of circles) Be sure to leave about 1/2" around each piece for tearing.

Begin tearing the mulberry paper gently. I find that tearing away from you works best for a fuzzy mulberry bear look. You may also find that cutting around each pattern leaving room for tearing makes it easier than working with a whole sheet.

Chalk around each piece as desired. Pink cheeks always look adorable! You may want experiment with chalk colors on scraps of mulberry first. Bears also look adorable with 3 little freckles on each cheek.

Eyes and nose for your tear bear can be created by using black cardstock.

When you have the right look for your mulberry paper tear bear assemble your pieces using glue or adhesive. Embellish as desired. Get creative-bows, clothing, glitter...the possibilities for making your creation unique are endless!
