While still figuring out where on a page to put stickers

When you're not sure where on a page a sticker will go best, do not peel it from the backing. Cut around the sticker, leaving the backing on, and lay it on the page to see how it looks. After choosing where it goes, then remove the backing and press the sticker onto the page. I learned this from reading Scrapbooking for the First Time, by Rebecca Carter.
