This 5 inch Easy Action Titanium Micro-Tip Scissors is from Fiskars. These easy-to-use action scissors are the winner of the Arthritis Foundation Ease-of-Use Commendation. This pair of scissors is perfect for cutting intricate details and tight patterns for people with arthritis or limited hand strength, especially when cutting fabric. These scissors have a spring-action design that opens the blades after each cut which reduces hand strain. The stainless steel blades have a titanium coating that is three times harder than steel with a precision-ground edge that stays sharp longer and cuts all the way to the tip. These scissors also feature a Softgrip handle for more comfort when cutting.
I got these for my craft room but somehow they were being used for trimming flowers. They were great for that but they work even better in my craft room. I got these after a few people online recommend them. Both of my hands are damaged and I’m limited in how much time I can spend crafting at a time. Using these reduces not only hand fatigue but pain. I find them to be a good size of handle. I have between small & medium hands. I don’t have to stretch my hand to use them. I had an adjustment getting used to not having to pull up with my thumb. they just bounce back. They’re nice and sharp. I love the titanium. It takes a lot to get something to stick to it. The tip also works great for detail work.
Watched Simon Hurley use these scissors on several of his YouTube videos. Since some of my favorite stamps don't have matching dies I hesitated to "fussy cut" them. These spring action scissors make cutting easy and fast.
