Interests: I love my furry child, my family and friends, the color pink, Peterbrooke Chocolate, Volvo cars, Apple computers, Bare Escentuals, and the beach. I am currently working my way through my lifetime list
Bio: "I think scrapbooking is a way to live with passion. It's about being present in your life. It's about recognizing a fleeting moment as memorable before it passes and it's about the ability you have to say, I was here, I lived and breathed and played in the sand. I learned and I loved. I laughed and I cried and I danced to disco in my kitchen." - Stacy Julian
Okay, so I like to play disco while driving in the car... But the quote above best explains why I make pages. I blame Lisa Bearnson... I was home sick one day and happened upon the QVC Scrapbook Fair - after hours of being mesmerized (and telling myself "I could do that" - must have been the fever) I ordered the TSV... I kept thinking as I watched the show that there were so many things that I wanted to showcase and record...Especially my love for Tyler, my adored 13 year old Welsh Terrier - with a heart condition... I was beginning to see changes in him and we were close to maxed on meds (many pills and liquids compounded for him... with different schedules - twice a day)... My furry child has been with me for so long and through so many things - Tylerbear needed a scrapbook. When the QVC TSV came and I sat down to open it... There was no glue! I needed glue to assemble it... and that was the beginning of my scrapbook supply shopping problem... I never would have guessed how much I would enjoy this hobby. I am a scrap addict.
*** On July 18, 2006 - 4 days after turning 14 - I lost my Tyler. The Losing You layout features his death announcement. My furry child has a beautiful scrapbook made with lots of love...
