Fishin’
I dug up a worm
Put it on the hook
Put the line down
And took one quick look
I felt the pull
I saw the shake
I wasn't sure how long
This fish was gonna take.
Reeling, reeling it in
Get him up on the ground
Call for my Papa
But I didn't hear a sound.
Finally Nana came
Took my picture
And I put it in a frame.
It was my first catch of the day,
And now I can truly say
“He was the fish that didn't get away!”
