Description: Okay, so when dh asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told him "I want a tamborine." Then I told him I didn't want him to tell anyone because I thought they'd think it was silly. I have always wanted to play an instrument, but unfortunately my promising musical career was cut short due to about 6 months of accordian lessons. Needless to say, I never picked up an instrument again.
Every Saturday night we have Bible study and we have 30-45 minutes of incredible worship. There are various percussion instruments lying around but I am always terrified to pick anything up. So now that I am the proud owner of my own tamborine, I can practice at home until I'm really good and then join in at church. Silly I know, but that's just me. TFL
Years ago I asked for a hormonica. I thought that didn't look to hard. I was wrong! I still have the harmonica but don't have a clue as how to play it. I think it's wonderful to have a tamborine. Let me know how hard it is and maybe I'll ask for one!!
