Description: 2 pages together, for Jenni Z's Cosmo Cricket challenge

Jounaling:
left side - I don't remember where this puppy came from. I think a stray or abandoned little guy. So sweet! I named the little guy after one of my favorite Golden Books - The Pokey Little Puppy. This was the first dog I ever had with the kids. I knew nothing about dogs, my parents had one only when I was small. Both kids loved this doggie, but especially Frankie. Unfortunately, I found out much later and much too late that "he" was a "she"

Right side:
One morning I heard a strange noise coming from under the kids bunk beds. When I looked - oh my god - pokey had given birth to nine puppies. I did not even know he........er, she........was pregnant. Lemme tell you, I was totally shocked. And a single mom of two kids cannot keep 10 dogs. Thankfully back then things were different. The humane society sent a man out to pick up all the dogs - Pokey had to go too to feed her pups. He promised me he found homes for them all. We were all heartbroken to see them go.
