Description: We had never been to Shell Beach, Ca. I loved this photo of Shell Beach that I took while on vacation, so I enlarged it to 5x7. This is a lift of Jette's work..she so inspired me! If you look closely, you'll see our family photo has the same rocks behind us as in the big photo. I used brown net that I attatched with brads (and a stitch in the center), I tore & inked the pp, printed the title on vellum, then hand sewed with 'x' stitches to attatch it to background. I was so excited to place a tiny bit of pebbly sand from Shell Beach in a clear envelope at the lower left corner. When I look at this LO, it just takes me back to that glorious day playing in the surf, following a green crab scuttle across the beach, and watching birds sky diving into the sea for fish. TFL!
