Over the years I have seen you demonstrate all of the Fruits of the Spirit in abundance. But of them all your greatest gift is your ability to love. To love the unlovely.

The people you pick for friends are sometimes questionable in the eyes of the world, but you take them in and love them.

You always choose the underdog to root for, the lost cause to champion. And the forgotten people to love.

I have watched many people over the years walk away from you because you choose the sinner over the saved, the lost over the found, and when I remember that Jesus loved the sinner, the tax collector, the prostitute, I am reminded of how much you try to walk in the Master's steps!

You have in so many ways shown me love. And in every conceivable way you have taught me the true meaning of Christianity, not just the appearance of it.

I am so proud to be your wife. And if, as they say, the longer two people are together the more they grow alike, I sure hope that some of you is rubbing off on me!
