I thought I was going to lose my marbles. The Friday before starting my new job, I had a new refrigerator delivered after listening to it threatening me with nasty sounds for 2 months. I was feeling all happy and accomplished since I knew I would be financially okay and I would have a shiny new fridge. On Monday, 4 days before my first day, I noticed water making its way from under the fridge to the middle of the floor. That, and my disposal simply stopped disposing. I got a handyman in that afternoon; he said I needed a new disposal, I told him not to go anywhere, ran to Home Depot, bought a unit, and he installed it. Whew. The next morning, water was leaking again from under the fridge. Note - the fridge does not connect to a water line. Had the handyman come back, he hemmed and hawed and yep, my dishwasher had something cracked. I ordered a new dishwasher from X; fought with X for a day - they wanted me to drive an hour to sign a piece of paper to get it installed. Two days to get this done, I cancelled the order and ordered with Home Depot. They came through - on Thurs, a new dishwasher was installed, no leaks, no weird sounds, and I had cold drinks and clean glasses. What an ordeal!
