Cover of Album. The base paper is a Photo of a Mural at a local Skatepark, I added the title and printed it out on a transparentcy. The photos of the boys are mounted on chipboard so they POP out at you, I was shocked I was able to print them out so small. the Skateboard that says "enter" is also a handle, I used wooden jewlery beads as wheels and glued them to the skateboard and the page. The screws are rub-ons. I tried to use ribbon that was kind of funky and also used shoelaces since skateboard shoes are soooo important to skateboarders. I had a couple of little skateboard "prototypes" for the handle that I didn't end up using, I didn't want them to go to waste so I tied them to the shoestrings and made them into "charms" I guess? The base paper on all the pages with the boys names on them is a photo of the bottom of that boys skateboard printed out on a transparentcy. I painted each page with craft paint and used a sponge to try to mimic the scratches on the bottom of a skateboard. I had a lot of fun making this album for the boys, two sets of brothers all four are cousins. TFL!!!
