SHCG: I tend to want scrapbooking to fill the page, but somehow I like how this LO doesn't. I love that you used purple as your bg color so that the orange and black isn't so blah. My only suggestion would be with the numbers. They are a little hard to see. I might have made small dots with orange CS and put the numbers on them.
SHCG: I love the ghost accent. It is soo cute! I like the original LO design. I feel like the photos are going to drop off the right corner, so I would like some sort of border, maybe a black mat to border and solidify that right corner. I agree with the circle being pulled out more. I love the title and the matting. Great job!
SHCG - What a fun LO about what looks like a fun night! I love your bright color choices here - the 2 toned title is just perfect. Also love the drawn cobwebs & cut ghost. And of course you know I love them multiple photos! I do like your stylistic choice to group everything in the lower right; however, I wish the black border around the left & top of the photos continued all the way around the right & bottom edges. I think that would give this a less open ended, more finished look to me. Glad you all had such a blast, y'all look great!
SHCG: I really like this page and I love how your halloween costume turned out! I agree, maybe pull the circle out a little more. I love the spider-web you drew on it and it reminds me of a full moon, so to see a little more would be great. I love the unbalanced look of this page, but am thinking that if you took orange or lime green paint and kind of messily painted the edges of the purple background the whole page might just come together perfectly. Again, I love this page. Your circle is wonderful and the colors are so much fun!
SHCG: What a fun LO - very spooky LOL Great pics, I love the colors that you chose. I like the little ghost, cute! I would have liked to see more of the web circle sticking out more from the pics.
SHCG: Just LUV the multiple photos and ghost/RIP. Sorry, but my first thought was why the basketball? Maybe bring the spider webing further out...
PS I didn't even see the little spiderweb & spider. Moving it so it hangs off the title might show it off better.
SHCG:Love your title, love the photos, love the ribbons on the hidden journaling tag-fun lo! I think you can make the orange mat bigger to fill up the page and then you can may be cut a spider web for the top left corner. The little ghost is great !
SHCG: What a fun page and a different way to place photos on a page. I was taken aback at first, but I like it more and more. It feels a little heavy still, so I'd take the spiderweb, cut it into a corner web, and move it along with the spider in the upper left corner of the page. Also, I'd like to see that ghost peeking from between the 00 in the year, with his arms up over the tops of the 00 and his tail and tombstone resting on top of the giant spiderweb. I'd also like to see some more white, maybe some dots spaced apart on the black mat and some drops on each teardrop of the letters in the title. Finally, I'd go with white filled-in circles and numbers written in black pen so that they show up better on the photos. I love the color combo and the inking on the cs. Your ribbon vee is cute and your giant spiderweb mat is a great idea. I might have made that mat bigger though, so that it comes around the edges of the entire photo block. This would have also filled the page a little more.
SHCG: Let me begin by saying that I am totally digging your costume. You look adorable! When I first looked at the layout, I wanted something in the top left corner. However, the more I scrolled back up, the more I like the space. It feels heavy at the bottom right, but I like it. The only thing I might add is a spider web-type doodle (similar to Nitzza's recent one on her little man layout) in black that playfully follows the edge of the purple paper. Jess, I love this layout and think you did a super fabby job!
SHCG: I Love this LO! Great way to showcase so many costumes.I cant decide if you need a little something in the upper left corner like another spider web or whether you should just leave it be. I do love the spider web & ghost on the orange to btw!
Hidden journaling attached to ribbon "v" reads: 1.Justin- This was pretty scary. kacheana wanted nothing to do with this mask. You crazy clown! 2. Thomas- Freddy Kruger. Very creepy, it looked so real! 3. Tristin- Cut little bad witch, but doesn't look so bad to me! 4. Makenzie- Also a witch, just much more grown up. Mersadez- Fairie princess, how pretty she looked! Kacheana- Little princess, she looked so precious and was very into trick-or-treating. 5. Me- Straight rom the 80's. Gotta love that time era! 6. Brandon- Creepy Jester. Drew little spider webs on the orange cs, inked the edges of the purple and orange cs. Cut the ghost and spider out of pp. TFL!
