Pond Life

We will have frogs again in our pond!!!

I am so happy, because our last resident was eaten by the grass snake......But Steve and I noticed loads of tadpoles while gardening yesterday! The glare of the sun - yes, you read that right, the SUN! - made it hard to photograph the little wrigglers, so I scooped a few into a small sieve for their moment of photographic fame. It will be lovely to follow their progress and with any luck we will hear the first dulcet croaks in July/August.
