When we watched “The Notebook,” I was already prepared to cry, and I even warned you ahead of time that I was going to. You kind of laughed about it, but you didn’t make a big deal. As I watched, all I could think about was how much I loved you and how much we had been through together in the last couple of months. I thought about how we were lying in bed and because you thought you had cancer that you asked me to remarry so the twins could have a father. I thought about your surgery and how scared you were. Many times I didn’t know how we were going to survive with everything going on. I was so stressed, and you were so stressed, but the one thing that I knew was that we were meant to be together and how much I loved you and how much I knew you loved me. Like the swans in these pictures and Noah and Allie, we are soul mates.
