Fall mixed media Canvas featuring an old favorite the stunning Prima Marketing Autumn Sunset collection designed by Frank Garcia along with the sweet Julie Nutting 'Hello Fall' stamp set. I used lots of fabulous Finnabair products too.1. I prepped my canvas with clear gesso.
2. Next I tore a piece from one of the sheets from the collection to fit my canvas and created a pretty border on the edge with a punch. I adhered this to the top section of the canvas.
3. I then added some brown rust paste creating textures with a palette knife on the bottom section of the canvas. Once the paste was dry I highlighted some of the raised areas with metallique wax.
4. I created some moulded embellishments and painted them with liquid acrylic paints.
5. I stamped the doll from the 'Hello Fall' stamp set onto watercolor paper and colored her face and hair with watercolors. I then dressed her and the fox with the beautiful pattern papers from the collection.
Next, I adorned the rest of my canvas with pretty flowers, vines, ephemera, chipboard stickers and siic.
