I chose the cardstocks because they echoed the spirit of Thanksgiving. The leaf cardstock was tilted so the layout wasn't so stiff. The same photo was duplicated and cropped tighter for a progression in the layout. All 3 photos were matted on navy blue to stand out from each other. A combination of ribbons were used to prevent a matchy matchy feel, and stickers were added for the title and extra interest.
