Journaling excerpt: I can't believe my bad luck. Not only did I get an infected spider bite, but also an abscess that required surgery. And to top it all off I also fell down the stairs on Christmas day and landed on the infected leg. And now I have an ER bill on my credit card for one hundred and fifty dollars. I AM A BAD LUCK MAGNET! Maybe I should start carrying around a rabbit's foot.
