Description: Valentine's goodies

I scraplifted this from Brandibug's 'She's Home' layout. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have done it justice. I'm not sure what's missing/off. Help!

(FYI, I fixed the petal that was stuck under the center. and I lowered the bottom right corner of the lefthand picture so it's not crooked.)

What a yummy page. LOL. I agree with the brown cs being needed as an anchor... or perhaps some ink/chalk around the pp strips would have helped. I like how you used the cake as a center for the flower, almost missed that!

*CS* T I really like this page a lot. I think the brown would maybe anchor things but I wouldn't overdo with it. Awesome page!

WOW!! this is great. You are good!

*CS* Hmm. I think a darker 2nd mat would look good as GTGW said. How about a chocolate inked border to each page to pull it all together a bit? I look forward to seeing how you progress with this!

Aw, thanks so much for sharing your scraplift with me!! I think part of what makes them seem so different is that my background paper is a much more dynamic color - the blue really pops whereas yours is a little more subtle. It's not a bad thing; it looks great, but that might be what is causing the big difference. I think you did awesome though and I appreciate you sharing with me!!

CS~I LOVE THIS I think it's better than the original you lifted from. My only suggestion is to mat the pix (or even just add a 2nd mat) on some chocolate colored cs bc you get lost in all the pink

Very Cute !!!

SO CUTE!!!!

CS: Perhaps the flower on the left-hand side is too big--it overwhelms the page and hides your patterned papers. Do you have a smaller one? I really like the combination of papers and embellies you chose for this lift--looks so pretty! Well done!
