Under his elbow is a folding race track that I bought for the two of them today. Yeah, I'm a sucker. I was only gonna buy him a $1 Matchbox car when he pulled this out for below the $1 cars.
"I wanted this a long time, Ganma!" Big smile on his face and everything.
I seriously doubted he'd ever seen it before that moment. So I asked, "a long time?"
"Yes, a looooonnnnggg time," he answered back. :sigh: No help for it. I picked out two race cars for them to race each other with.
Later when I told dd, she said he's moved more into the car phase and less of the train now. So maybe he had wanted it a long time, like less than a month! :rofl:
