Description: Journaling: In the 1950s and 1960s, it was very fashionable to smoke cigarettes. The "manly" men on TV and in the movies always smoked. It was fun to get a pack of candy cigarettes or a bubblegum cigar and pretend we were smoking. We were very dramatic about it. I'm sure we looked silly, but we felt very grown up.

What a great trip down memory lane! I also remember cigars made of licorice! Nice big black ones to make our mouths black! And didn't we think we looked cool? Today these would not be politically correct I guess, do they still sell these? Probably not. LOL Thanks!
Still popular in the '80s. I remember doing that with my friends. We'd get them from the Ice Cream Truck that would cruise our streets. Thank you for the nostalgic memories. Great Job!
