BAD STAPLES!!

Hmm..maybe those staples are made of something else? They obviously look rusty. I think like someone said, that staples are now coated. Sure hope that doesn't happen to my staples!!

I should be careful for sure....very high humidity here. I think I'll check the content of my staples next time I see them. ;) Maybe perform some tests.

maybe these were exposed to some kind of moisture or something, I didn't think metal rusted unless it had...and like Cat said, if u r using sb staples maybe it will be ok, I too use a lot of staples...I hope this doesn't happen to my pages or anyone else's for that matter!!!!!

We have stuff stapled in our office that goes wy back.. Maybe it depends on storage or climate??

I have seen this before in my previous job. I was a record archiver. Staples often rust over time, however, the scrap staples are usually coated in some type of color that might prevent this. I hope.
