Description: This is another LO of ME. I have struggled for sometime scrapping myself, and
recently I decided to create a series of ME layouts. Here is my attempt at the second in the series. This LO is to celebrate my heritage as well as Thank God for all the blessings in my life. The other day, I was thinking about all the many things I have asked, prayed and dreamed for in my life. When I look back on my life, God has always provided my needs as well as granted many of my dreams. So I decided to use the Dream Catcher to communicate this idea. The Dream catcher catches all the good dreams and energies and sends them to
person under the dream catcher. I thought the LO would need a lot of negative space and I wanted the negative space to be transparent. I felt the transparency would help communicate the dreams and blessing passing though the LO just as they have passed through my life. Well, I don't want to get to deep so I will move on, but I hope you get the idea. How I did it: I started with a photo, glued the photo to a piece of chipboard then cut the
photo. Next, I sewed the pieces of the picture together with the sewing machine. I then made the Dream catcher and then hand sewed the picture to the Dream catcher. I next, cut the paper pieces out and added the transparency pieces. Once I glued all the pieces together, I went to the sewing machine and started stitching everything together. I then, Stamped, inked and painted the LO. Added one embellishment: “Dream” then did some journaling on the LO. The journaling Reads:

The Dream Catcher
It is believed that dreams both good and bad
float through the air all day and night searching for their
destination. While sleeping under a Dream catcher, one may
feel secure that bad dreams being confused and ill-intentioned
get caught in the web to perish with the first light of day,
while the good dreams, knowing the right way, easily slip through
the centre hole, work their way down the web catching all the
good energies of the stones and adornment, floating down the
feathers and onto the dreamers head. One never need fear bad
dreams again while sleeping under a smudged, or blessed Dream catcher. Wahdoh
