Description: another page for my friend Anne of little Kadie.

I used the bubble wrap to make a design on my background paper layering a light gray with a yellow over top it. The title I printed off my computer then placed under a piece of vellum that I then traced. The vellum is covering the entire background paper. By accident I discovered that the towel would stretch apart making an almost meshy material. It turned out neat wasnt nearly as bulky andlet some of the background show through. I used the embroidery floss to sew dandelions to the side, unfortunately they didnt show up nearly as well as I had hoped, although they do show better than these pictures show them. At the ends of the points I sewed the seed beads. I used the clay to create centers for the flowers. I used another piece of the towel to press onto the clay to give it a texture, poked a few holes through it in the center, and then rubbed some chalk on it before baking. I also sewed 3 beads to the center of each of these. The chipboard tag was used for the hidden journaling. I also used the white ribbon ot make a hinge for the hidden journaling. I adhered the rag and the strips of ribbon to the back of the photo mat and then covered that with another mat so you wouldnt see the ugly parts when you opened it. I used the brown ribbon, some white ribbon, and 1 brad as a trim inside the hidden journaling and used the index card as a journaling box. I added the little birdie that I paper pieced and put the second brad on him as his eye.

Great job - I didn't even realize that was the towel when I first saw it! Love how you did the hidden journaling - sounds very cool, especially the hinge.
