Description: A tribute album to grandparent/grandchild relationships complete with heartwarming quotes.
The album is called "The Big "G" which stands for Grandparents and Grandchildren. It has a special-to-us quotes on most pages.
To get the multicolored spine I lightly rubbed brown, red, blue, brown and some light green waterbased ink onto the canvas. Then I sprayed it lightly with water so it would "bleed."
I used a Xyron sticker maker as my adhesive to glue background papers onto the chipboard cover and pages. Anything that was added to those papers is more secure on the cover and layouts. I used a brayer to apply more pressure to the papers for a stronger bond and to smooth the papers.
The cover has two light coats of Modge Podge for sealing and then a coat of clear acrylic spray.
I used Crafter's Pick - The Ultimate glue to attach the paper covered monogram "g" to the cover. Red ink was added to the edges of the letter and VanDyke Brown Ink on the album edges.
I used my Dymo Label Maker to get the words, "the big" onto the cover. The red larger ribbon was glued onto the cover with Xyron Adhesive. The coordinating ribbon pack wasn't available when I made the album but I've included it with the list of products so you can see how perfect it is for this ablum kit.
