Description: Journaling: Bacolod City, Philippines, 2008. my dear lola (Filipino for grandmother). i have no real memory of her since I left the Philippines when I was 2 years old. I only know her thru letters and phone calls which are few and far between. Even the phone calls are difficult because of the language barrier. I look forward to the day when I can hug and kiss her in person. Until then, I'll relish each photo and letter that I receive.
