Description: I DID THIS LO QUITE SOME TIME AGO BUT THOUGHT I WOULD PUT IT ON HERE FOR THE 4TH OF JULY. MY DH SPOTTED HIM IN A DEAD PINE TREE IN THE NEIGHBORS YARD AND TOLD ME TO GRAB MY CAMERA. SO I ZOOMED IN AND GOT THESE SHOTS.
Wow, that's amazing that you got this shot, it's pretty rare!! we have an american bald eagle nesting in our area too, whenever we drive by we try to see if we can catch a glimpse!
Wonderful-It must be great to see such a wonderful, powerful and majestic bird from your home. Great job and love the tag on the bottom right hand corner! We must continue to protect such wonderful creatures!
Our local pair have been difficult to get pics of this year. They added to the nest again and it's too deep to see their heads over the top, also their young recently 'moved out' so the parents aren't spending as much time perching above the nest.
love the 'fragile' label and clear stars...what a treat...seeing this majestic bird from your yard?! We saw these birds at dawn when we were in Canada, but there aint none around these parts!!! LOL xx
