*CS* Great paper. I would mat the two maller pics. Red may work as well as green or staying with the brown. The title is harder because the paper is so busy you really don't want to add to it by having a detailed font. JMO.
Ok you know what I would do. I would cut that pp in half so that the top section of the lo was the plain cs. Then add your title in fancy print and embellishments. But that is just one way to do it.
CS: oh, and i see the nursery rhyme has been mentioned already. the first thing that came to my mind was 'you can learn a lot of things from the flowers, especially in the month of june,' from alice in wonderland. that'd be great if the photo were taken in june!
CS: I saw a great page in SS magazine yesterday that works great for using busy patterned paper. Instead of slipping it behind your entire lo, why not cut out 2x2 squares of each one, and build your own background (but don't extend it behind the photos) and round off their corners to soften it a bit. This way you can use all of your papers, but more as an embellishment that doesn't overwhelm the page. And your title could cover up 2 of the squares then perhaps? What great photos though! I'm interested to see what you do!
CS-Great looking pics, i can see why you want to scrap them!!! For suggestions, I would mount the other two pics and perhaps you need a green strip across the top with some type of quote or journaling. Love your choice of pp.
CS: I'm not really sure what to suggest since this is for an unnamed challenge. lol. If it was my layout, I think I would place a wide solid green strip underneath the photos.
OR what about using your journaling as a title: Here's what I mean...For example let's say you use the poem "Mary. Mary quite contrary", but you can change the names and you print it on to solid cs, cut each word out one by one, mat them in a coordinating color, ink them, and place them slanted and randomly on the top end of the LO?! Then maybe add a touch of soft ribbon along the bottom of the LO (to be wrapped up like a package!
Here are a few suggestions: I love the idea of making the larger pic bigger and matting it with the tan, what if you matted the 2 smaller pics with red(I think it would really make the flowers in the left pic pop). The pp is a little busy with the pics(this is why I have only used like 2 sheets from the Scarlet Letter pack-I hate to cover it up!!) So, what if you did a strip of red or green across the top(not all the way up, let a little of the pp show at the top), use a craft knife to cut some of the flowers (gray and white) so that they hang over the strip of solid paper(I hope that makes sense!), and then you can put your title on the solid color strip with maybe some doodled flowers or flowers made from another pp from that pack. For the title, what about How does your garden grow? from the Mary Mary quite contrary nursery rhyme (I know it's cheesy). Sorry this is so long, I hope this helps!
CS~ I love the pics, and the pp separately... together the pp distracts from the pics (in my opinion) It might look better if you took a chunk of the pp off the top and used a solid color... Sorry if it's too harsh. For a title you could try Garden Girl, or my little flower, or a quote about flowers... sorry don't have one for you! HTH!
Need Help. I think I have a problem with not diving in to this BG paper...I am thinking the title to be something about gardening or watering the flowers, but as far as anything else goes I dead in my tracks. SO PLEASE CRIT AWAY...open to all suggestions.
