ADORABLE. I love this! I say no doodling, but I am not a good one to ask because I am not a fan of doodling personally. Great distressing on the photos. Fun colors!
I like this lo and I really like the story with it. These are very bright colors so it is a little hard for me to add any useful critique here. I really like the little tab things on the pictures! May have to borrow that!
SO CUTE. Not sure if you need to doodle, it might overpower the whole LO since your colors are so bright, you probably don't need it. This is super cute!
Very cute! Love the pix! If you doodle, I suggest using something like a Sakura Glaze pen to keep it subtle and not overpower what you've already got going on here. :) Love the photo of the back of her head. lol
I don't think it's necessary to doodle. It looks fantastic as it is! The colors are so bright the doodling would throw it off. This is a really nice LO!
I think no on the doodling, the colors are so strong and bright, it may look too busy with more going on. LOVE those photo anchors, I may have to pull mine out!! I don't think I've ever used them! Love that you sanded the pictures too:)
I think it looks great as is. What I love about it is that the doodling is so subtle it looks like a part of the paper. If you just inked it a little darker I think it would be just perfect. But of corse it's not really needed. The page is great right now.
I agree with the comment below: The doodles are soft and spaced apart in a great way - I would not make them any stronger as the pp is already vibrant. I love the strip of pics. I think that it is a great LO to showcase her little 'do!
I understand what you mean about returning to the 'classics.' I find myself doing that from time to time as well. But if it's a good design, it'll work. And this really works I think! Love the bright colors and the bold title. I think you should include the doodling only if it appears as subtle as it does now. Nothing that would distract from the rest of the page. What sweet journaling. Nice work! :)
i have a love hate realtionship with this one. i love how the structure of this turned out, although i have seen it before in my work. kind of like returning to the classics, but it also uniforms the album. i hate that i feel like i am uncreative and have to resort back to my old stuff. i love how i used the two shiouette of dd against the back shot. and i'm also expirementing with stuff i got in the bg accecnt cb package. although none of this cb is pre cut i traced it from precut stuff and cut it out myself so that i would match the lo. not too sure if i should go ahead and doodle in the white space. and check it out my journaling didn't show through on the scan, its slanted anyways. it reads: That's what you are. You always want your hair up in pretties. Have to put on your own lotion. Not to mention you can't go outside with out some lip gloss. okay so i'm exagerating but only a little. oh boy is your dad in trouble.
