I love this pic of my mum which shows a lot of her personality, and was so thankful for the technology available to us today that enabled me to rescue it from fading into oblivion. It was not in good shape.
Hidden journalling reads " This is Mum. She loves to dress up! This day she was going to a Bega Harmony Group social evening where everyone was to present an item. Mum chose to mime a comedic number called "I havent had a record in the Top 40 Pops". The red hotpants (made by my best friends mother) and the boots were mine and had been all the rage. I played the guitar in the school and church choirs.Folk masses were 'in' then. The wig was hers and she actually wore it in those days. The year was 1975."
