Description: This LO is for the Song Title Challenge at http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/1465353/tp/1/
This pic of my daughter with her Nonna was taken on Xmas Day 2003 and is one of my fav pics of them together. Ever since my DD was a tiny baby, her Nonna used to sing this song to her. It's an old 1950's song from the musical Guys and Dolls and the most popular recording was by Doris Day. My MIL was always whistling and singing around the house and we miss her every day. This song is very special. The butterflies also have special significance for my DD. On the day that Nonna passed away (my DD was 12) we went to the hospital to say goodbye to her, the councellor gave my DD a butterfly from one of the floral arragements in Nonna's room, and told Kimberley not to be sad. She told her that Nonna had been in a dark cocoon for a long time with her cancer and now she had broken out of that cocoon and was free of her pain.

This is sooo lovely and touching! It caught my eye because my grandmother used to sing this to my sister and I when we were little and then to my boys. :)
