Hi Jess. I love the colors you chose. The layering is great. Your journaling is very sweet and Brandon will love to see this in future. I do think one photo your chose of him is very dark and I would have chosen a photo that shows him better.
I hope this made him feel like a million bucks because the entire layout and the journaling are sumptuous...so beautifully done! I do agree with the matte idea...perhaps a gold?
Jess! Super job woman! Your insight never ceases to amaze me and often has me wondering if you are an old soul trapped in a young body! The journaling is perfection and I am totally digging on the composition. Your title is playful, yet contributes to the masculine feel of this layout. The colors are rad and I think I might agree about a mat of some sort to bring my eye to the pictures. I love this! Rad-a-licious.
Jess this is gorgeous! I love the embossing touch! Love the detail down the side of the far right photo, great job all around and the journaling is definately sweet and heartfelt.
Sweetie - this is sooo very thoughtful of you, your journaling got me all misty! The overall effect is both pretty AND masculine. Love the lovely layered pp, scrolly cut paper & the (dry embossed?) swirly-flowery corner design thing. Great title font too. I agree w/ Brenda, I too was thinking a very thin dark brown matting around the photos, for emphasis. Such a wonderful page about your honey!
Wow! You are the mistress of layering! Beautiful job! The colors are great and so is your choice of pps that complement each other. The large sized Cricut Stamped font looks really good here. The Cuttlebug embossing and the scroll (so that's where that's from) are pretty touches, but not too feminine for the page. I don't see any inking, so I will refrain from making that a suggestion. I think I'd like to see a very thin dark brown mat underneath the photos, though, just to make them pop a little more. TFS your sweet journaling.
This is for the SHCG WC hosted by Denitza (thanks! it was a great challenge) to do a LO about the man/men in your life, since the attention is often geared towards other things. So, I did a page of my boyfriend. I got to use my mom's cuttlebug. the embossed image on that yellow paper in the top right corner is done with it, and that little design by the pictures. There is hidden journaling on that brown polka dot paper. It reads: Brandon- This one is for you just because: -You love me unconditionally -You make me laugh like no one else can. -I wouldn’t make it through a single day without you. -You complete me. - I love the way you look at me with your bright blue eyes. -You love me, despite the fact that I’m not even close to perfect. -You know just the things that irritate me, and you use them. But then manage to make me laugh in the end. -You know all of my little quirks.
But mainly just because I love you more than I could ever possibly put into words. You mean the world to me. Love Always, Jessica
