Not a good day   (2 comments, 68 views) Monday, 04 December 2006

Mondays!  uggghhhhhh!

This day just started badly.   I needed to mail out some secret sis swaps and couldn't get the labels to print.   The LO I did last night didn't get into the poll, my post just got missed.  (It's ok, but I really wanted that LO to get some love! KWIM?)  Children were in a mood, dh was in a mood...needless to say I was in a mood.

DS didn't want to do his math cause it was too hard, dd didn't want to do hers because it was new material, dd2 didn't want to do hers because she had something better to do!  (sounds  a little like the three bears, hee hee).  Finally got done with the school work and headed off to stroke training (all three children are competitive swimmers).

Got to the pool and the door wasn't opened, went through the school and the office was locked.  Finally called and we were let in.  DD forgot her swim bag and wasn't going to train.  Hello?  I paid for this lesson and you are getting in!  Then training ran late and we all rushed home starving.

Children went to take showers while I tried to make lunch.  The girls though wouldn't get out of the shower.  30 minutes later I went up to tell them again that they needed to get out and found an inch of water on the floor.  Ugggghhhhhhh!  And the housekeepers had just left!

Fed everyone lunch and decided I was in no mood to go to the gym, (luckily those new year's resolutions haven't started yet!)  I hung out around here for a while then decided to work on my MIL's Christmas present.   Then one of the things that totally freaks me out happened.  I am sure you have heard how some cultures believe that photographs steal your soul.  Well when pictures mess up it freaks me out.  You can tell where this is going...I put one sheet of paper in upside down and all the ink just ran off.  All the faces melted.  That just creeped me out!

Well, I have now reprinted the pictures, and should get back to my project.  Guess I just needed to vent.  It has been a long Monday.

It will get better Nancy! You make such a good mom! I hope I am as good with keeping my cool as you! Right about the time in the story about your daughter not bringing her bag my blog would have continued on about how I darn near chocked her! And the part of the night that is going to make it better is when my package gets there!
