Crazy   (2 comments, 73 views) Thursday, 19 October 2006

So things around here have been a little crazy lately.  We have just finally managed to settle into a schedule around here.  But some days just go beter than others.  Some days it seems like we can get everything done, no one fusses and we all have a great time.  Other days.....OMG!  I think I am going to lose it!  One of the children start fussing, then another gets upset because he can't think becuse everyone is making too much noise.  Then no one is getting anything done!  Ugggghhhhhhhh!

What is a mom to do?  I think about sending them back to school, but I know that that is not an option right now.  Our neighborhood public school is closed (already full) and the schools the district has to offer I wouldn't send my dog to!  Did anyone see where California placed on the education scale!  Ugggghhhh  And people wonder why I chose to homeschool?   Private school?  For 3 kids?   I just don't think we could do it!

So what to do...what to do?  Come here to my favorite escape.  Chat with some friends, calm myself down and give the children a break.  Then back to work.  We can do this!

Thanks neighbors for being there for me.

OMGoodness! I know exactly what you mean. And I only have 2 kids. When we homeschooled, there were some days that just flew by and others that I spent in my bedroom avoiding the conflict. Hang in there my friend.

We just put our daughter back in public school, but we've only got 1, we moved to a smaller town so the cost was significantly less, and we got financial aid. Those things together helped us make it happen. But being in Cali myself I know what you mean. Where did they place on the education scale this year? It's really pretty sad considering everyone considers Cali to be progressive.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you have an outlet here and with your pages. They are gorgeous!
