one week, the boys will be here.  Noah to stay of course and Mitchell to visit for a couple of weeks.  Then he'll go home and start rehearsals for A Chorus Line.  That will be his last play at the Modjeska Youth Theater  for now and he will be concentrating on finishing his senior year at Milwaukee High School of the Arts.  Never in my life while watching Fame as a teen/young adult would I have imagined that I'd have a child that attended a High School of the Arts and that he was in the musical Fame as well!  The other night while talking to Mitch he mentioned that this will be his 14th show at the youth theater!  He has been with this theater since Feb of 2003 so I guess that's about right!  He plans on going to University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee as they have a new musical theater program.  I of course, would like to pull him out this way to go to college so I could see him more!  While he is here we're going to check into what scholarships are available and when he can take the SAT and ACT tests.  I told him he should contact teachers and his director for reference letters for the scholarships he wants to apply for.  He has been applying for jobs and hasn't had any luck.

I talked to Noah a little bit the other night and he doesn't seem excited about coming home.  I guess the past month has been such a party at Dad's.  Hopefully we can ease him back into life here, but I have a feeling it's gonna be a struggle.  We are kind of prepared for it, but am still hoping for the best.  One thing I did get him while he was gone was a tv with a DVD player.  We were at The Discovery Store in the mall and they are going out of business.  They listed the TV with Dvd player for $50!  When I first saw it I thought I don't know if I should, but then over that weekend we sold the old car, so the following Tues we went back and it was still there!  So we got it.  So now he can watch Dvd's and do Xbox in his room.  Our place is so small that this will be a big help getting some of the gaming stuff out of the living room.  Today we'll be straightening up his room and setting up the TV, I'll be bummed if it doesn't work!  I have high hopes as one of the gals at the store mentioned she bought one from a previous store and has good luck with it...hopefully that wasn't a tall tale

Today is family reunion in NW Wisconsin.  We wish we could've gone, but it'd be an awfully long trip and neither one of us has vacation time.  Tim because he used his up with Chemo, etc and me because I have to be at my job a year first to get vacation time.  I've used my sick time already as well for various reasons.  My cousin received the cookbooks the other day and says that they're awesome.  I hope they sell...she thinks they will with no problem.  Actually now we camp for the weekend for family reunion.  I mentioned to my cousin that we should do camping instead of just one day.  She says to me I can't get away from the campground to go camping.  I said Duh Ida we can do it at the campground you manage.  So this is the fourth year we've had it at the campground.  It's nice to be able to spend more time reconnecting with family.  Saturday of course is the big day with all the food and games.  I sent a photo viewer with pictures of us on it, so in case anyone asks about us she can show them. I included a page describing the photos. If you want to check one out you can put Mark Feldstein & Associates in a search, get the web address  and see the photo viewer is on the first page. What a geek huh?  Guess Tim has rubbed off on me
