One Week

Tim has been out of the hospital for one week now. He's doing pretty good. He gets out about 1-2 hrs everyday except on Sunday when it snowed we all stayed in except for Noah who was out playing in the snow. Yeah he was supposed to be shoveling and making a hill for a snowboard, but I never actually saw him doing it.! LOL
Today Tim got the catheter removed and yes, everything is in working order! LMAO He goes around stating I Pee freely. Yep, that's my guy! He also had the staples removed and was surprised how it didn't hurt. The surgeon says the wound looks good. So once that heals up it will be onto radiation and chemotherapy. He's not thrilled about that but I say it's because you're so young and they want to make sure it's gone! Nice to have a couple of positive things happening. Now if we can get the colostomy bag to not blow out on one side we'll have it made! I know it's a trial and error thing and even different companies work better. So we'll see what the Stoma nurse brings for samples. Tim's supplies finally arrived today, thankfully we were down to two colostomy bags left. Which really should last a week or so but since they keep blowing out on one edge of the barrier. Good to have some good news !
I got a Christmas bonus yesterday so I was able to pay the rest of our rent for this month and get a couple of things for the boys. A lean Christmas but still we'll have a good Christmas no matter!
