Ok - so I haven't been around in like FOREVER! Things have been so crazy and since we've moved, I have been just exhausted. But, as things kinda settle down, it's slowly starting to get better. The babies had a birthday in May - I need to post the pics - and are getting SO big! I can't believe how fast they are growing. Preston crawls all over the place and Kate has a HUGE vocabulary. Right now, we're practicing saying numbers and counting with our hands. She is SO SMART! It makes a mamma proud...

So, now that we're in the new house - finally! - I think it's pretty safe to say that I will never go through that disaster again... When we bought our first house, everything was much simpler. We went in to sign on the day they said the docs would be ready, we got our keys, we moved in, so, so easy... This time... I took a day off of work to sign our loan docs and drive out to the house to get the keys from the builder and start doing some prep work before we moved in - fans, blinds, paint, etc...

I can't believe that the babies are already 11 months old!!! They grow so fast! I can't believe we've been home for 2 months already. It feels like they've always been a part of the family and that we've always just had babies... Preston got his first official 'spit bath' on Saturday morning. He wasn't too pleased with it, but the schmuck on his face finally came off which it wasn't doing no matter what I tried cleaning it with... Both he and Kate are babbling up a storm. They talk to themselves...

How come no one warned me that twins would be this hard??? They don't sleep at the same time, they need new diapers one right after the other, they are teething at different times... They are the cutest little people I have ever seen and I can't believe no one told me I would be so IN LOVE with them!! I knew I would totally love them, but I didn't know it would be this much and that I love them more and more everyday. Craziness...
